PATTERN INFORMATION

The Forelsket wrap is an extra large mosaic crochet scarf you can wrap around yourself on cold winter days or chilly summer evenings. The technique I used is called Inset mosaic crochet. It’s called like this because you’ll fill the ch-sps in by “in-setting” longer stitches (dcs) in the next RS row in a contrasting colour, leaving the ch-sps unworked behind. As said it’s worked using 2 rows of each colour. You’ll be turning your work at the end of each row and will carry the unused colour up the side of your work. This will minimize the amount of ends you’ll need to weave in.

I’ve tried to make this mosaic crochet pattern as accessible as possible for beginners. I think it’s an excellent pattern if you’ve never tried inset mosaic crochet before. The pattern is easily memorable and consists of simple repeats. I’ve added a photo tutorial to make it even easier!
